REGISTRATION

Piano Lessons VK is accepting students 4 years old and older. Current students have an opportunity to re-register for the next year and reserve a lesson time with a non-refundable $25 per student (no more then $50.00 per family) registration fee and completing the form to secure the spot for fall. Re-registration for current students is due June 15. New families are welcome to contact me by email to schedule a free 30-min meeting.

STUDIO CALENDAR 2017-2018

The school year is divided into three terms:

Fall: September 3 – December 20 / 16 weeks
Winter: January 7 – March 08 / 9 weeks
Spring: March 18 – June 27 / 15 weeks

No lessons:
Christmas break December 21 – January 6
Spring break 2018 March 11 – March 15

Other important event dates:
Studio recital – March 31, Sunday, 2:00 pm
Kiwanis Festival – April

TUITION

30 min lesson – $25.00
45 min lesson – $37.50
60 min lesson – $50.00

The registration fee $25.00 for each student.
Books are not included in the tuition fee.

Tuition is due and payable in advance at the beginning of each term upon receiving a statement. Cheques or E-transfers are acceptable, payments should be made out to Piano Lessons VK.

MISSED LESSONS

Due to the teacher’s limited availability, makeup lessons cannot be guaranteed. Please be advised that there are no refunds or discounts on the missed lesson unless the teacher is unable to teach the promised number of lessons.
Lateness to lesson cannot be made up. Late arrival to lesson still counted towards lesson time.
Illness: Students who are ill should not come to the piano lessons. Teacher reserves the right to send a student home if they arrive sick. Lesson missed due to sickness could be rescheduled on Tuesday only.

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE LESSONS

Refunds are not available for withdrawal from the lessons. Any questions or concerns regarding withdrawal from lessons will be dealt with on an individual basis.

STUDIO

Attendance – Regular attendance is essential to make progress. 24 hours notice is required to reschedule individual lesson.

Being late – We kindly ask all our students to be on time for their lesson. The teacher is on a schedule and may not be able to make up missed time.

Grooming and studio use – Hands should be clean and nails need to be cut short. Boots/shoes should be removed at the door.

Practice – Practice makes perfect! Daily practice is essential to successfully master skills. Parents need to limit distractions and set specific schedule to ensure regular practice. The piano should be tuned.
